Support Local Control for Water Infrastructure
Support Local Control focuses on water infrastructure systems that serve North American communities, and specifically on efforts to retain freedom of choice by local government officials, utility managers and engineers on the appropriate pipeline materials to use for safe, resilient and economical delivery of water.
The need to protect Local Control comes from repeated and growing efforts over the past several years to strip away local decision-making powers on infrastructure needs. Although this effort has not succeeded in any state, the attempt continues in many states and at the federal level. We need your help to protect Local Control.
